Pumpkin Patch & October Happenings

The weekend after David's birthday was also completely gorgeous! We made it to our favorite pumpkin patch (not by train this year!) to pick out our pumpkins and enjoy some fall festivities.

Lewis won the hula hoop contest this year!

Only Lewis and I enjoyed and conquered the corn maze this year. It was really fun to do it with him!

This cute boy loves making buildings during church.

And, we are now the proud owners of a little car for David to drive! (Actually, Beau loves driving it too! David was so cute. We were going to deliver some cookies to Hilary, and he said, "Oh, I'll drive them over to her!" He put them in the front seat next to him, and drove them on up to Hilary!

Then, Beau was going to head over to Asher's house. David said, "Beau, I can drive you over and drop you off!" So fun!

Also pictured...David driving with his friend Connor over at Connor's house.

Lewis chilling on the couch doing his homework...in his Starcatcher costume!

Mike and I had the biggest treat of the fall - we got to go to the temple! And, we got to go with a bunch of Singapore friends! Ethan Furner went through to receive his endowment before leaving on his mission. He was allowed to invite a few friends, and we were invited. It was such an honor to be there with him, and such a treat after 7 months or so with no temple open to be able to go through. We really loved it! We were even able to grab tacos afterwards with the group of friends. SUCH a treat!

Lewis absolutely loved getting to go to his first boy scout campout with Mike. They had such a fun time! They were on a lake in the Poconos. He got to help with lots of cooking, go canoeing, throw tomahawks, and generally enjoy the scenery. So glad Mike took him up!

A little chocolate chip cookie day when it was rainy and blustery!
And, our boys deciding to hold April Fools Day early and toilet paper the kitchen!!!

Beau, David, and I normally get out for morning recess (it used to be exercise...but let's be honest - no one's really doing that anymore :-(   But, morning activity! A great way to start our morning before jumping into work.) They are so funny. They love playing bumper cars with their boogie bikes or even with the power wheels car and the green machine bike.

Beau has the most hysterical inside joke going with his teachers. He has such a great sense of humor, and his teachers are amazing to roll with him on this.

He writes them emails and uses Grammarly to come up with the most posh, ridiculously formal vocabulary. And, on top of that, he calls them "The Mueller" and "Ms. Sebbi".
So funny!
