Love this boy and his creativity and costumes.
He created the "large amount of chest hair brothers" club back in the summer. That must have inspired this amazing get up.
He did have a panic or get it washed off before swimming that night! 😉

So much music for Lewis
I missed reporting on Christmas music.
This year, I had four concerts/ gigs for Christmas with my choirs plus a school performance. Lewis had 5 concerts and gigs between his choirs and school groups. Plus we both performed in church twice. Phew! It made it so lovely though.
Lewis completely surprised us by not telling that he was in fact second chair violin and was in the chamber orchestra. (Without ever having had lessons outside of school!)
At the end a picture of him and his friend Niall having the loudest play date I've ever seen! Boy did they have a good time though!

YSA Christmas
This is out of order, but we had a wonderful Christmas luncheon with all our YSA. It was delightful! Delicious ham feast. Crackers. They strung our popcorn and cranberries. Caroling. And great company.
Plus a picture of how much I love seeing our tree through the back window when I get home at night.

Prezzies
We spent so long on the Santa gifts that we broke for breakfast before returning to begin family presents. We talked to the boys about gratitude beforehand. I really felt like there was such a spirit of love and gratitude that lasted the whole day. Joy.
Lewis, my organizer, helped arrange the gift piles. The opening lasted a good couple hours on and off. It was delightful!

Lewis’ studio recorder
Lewis' gift was also a real hit. A home studio recorder. Once he figured it out, he hasn't stopped recording since.
Beau’s arcade
The arcade game was a total hit with Beau and everyone else. I think Beau logged about 8 hours of playing across the day and had the glazed over eyes to prove it!
The reveal!
Santa created the most amazing Island of Sodor set up for David. He was completely amazed by the number of trains! He can play trains endlessly!
Christmas Morning
Everyone slept in until a very respectable 7am. We opened stockings together. Among other things, it was the year of the umbrellas. Santa must have known all ours were broken. 😀 Mike and I made out well with some high end running socks. Very practical Santa, but a home run for Mike! The kids also received a slew of very delicious, unique treats and doo-dads.
