Once before we moved to Singapore, we took the older boys to the Christmas Eve morning event at the Princeton Airport. We really wanted David to experience it too, and he was at the perfect age for it. There are treats and music in the hangar. Then everyone goes outside to wait for Santa to fly in. He actually flies in himself, and after doing quite a few stunts and tricks, lands the plane to much eager applause. Then he hands out presents one by one to the children at the event.
When we attended a few years ago, we made the fatal mistake of only dropping our gifts off a week or so in advance. We had to wait forever; it was so painful. This year, I dropped off the first morning they were accepting gifts within an hour of them opening up. This, the timing was great. A short wait, and we were called up to see Santa. It was all pretty exciting!
